Whats new for 2005? The Warriors Have Newz

2005 will mark the 12th season for the Supercharged Warriors Racing Series with the group moving ahead stronger than ever. The wildly popular group, with a good mix of nostalgia and modern door slammers and altereds, all blown alcohol, have already booked 13 shows for the summer and also have a few more dates pending. The big news for the Warriors is they now have a presenting sponsor in Hot Rod Newz TV and Magazine. "With Hot Rod Newz TV coming on board, we now have a great resource to showcase our sponsors and series to over 10 million people every weekend on Fox Sports Net. There are not many racing series that can offer valuable TV time to their sponsors so this should help to grow our series even more" says Warriors Marketing Director Micky Hale. The Warriors have also added Mickey Thompson Tires as their new "Burnout Challenge" sponsor which is a very popular contest at the tracks, as it is voted on by the fans. The winner of the Mickey Thompson Burnout Challenge at each race will receive $100 from M/T Tires. Perma Cool is now the #1 qualifier sponsor and Enderle is continuing their Reaction time bonus award for the driver that has the best reaction time during the 1st round eliminations. Sporting new looks in 2005, Marty Beno’s "Blown Insane" altered has undergone a graphics make over and Micky Hale’s "Warlock" 37 Chevy Coupe has had finishing touches put on its paint. The Warriors also plan to audition a few cars throughout the season to possibly bring a new car into the group. "We are always on the look out for quality cars to run in our group, but most important, is professionalism, and a commitment to our series" stated Bob Lascak the Director of the Warriors.
