Wild smoky burnouts, lots of fun cars, and side by side all-out competition are what the Supercharged Warriors are all about. The Ohio-based group emerged from the memories of the AA/ gassers and fuel altereds that ruled the strips in the 1960s. “The racers were looking to fill a gap between the high dollar professionally sponsored cars and the bracket racing classes,” said director Bob Lascak. The cars - both nostalgic altereds and doorslammers - run blown, alcohol injected motors.

Making of a Warrior

Becoming a Warrior is not easy! Members currently represent the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and Michigan. Prospective racers must first undergo an audition process, and will be offered a position on the team only if they prove to be Supercharged Warrior material. Only the cream of the crop are accepted from a long list of applicants. It is a privilege to call yourself a Warrior. Please contact Warriors Director Bob Lascak for information.

Our Show is Pro

Professionalism is the buzzword for the Supercharged Warriors. The cars are all top quality, reliable machines which get back into the lanes quickly for the next round. The teams wear brightly-colored uniforms, and the Supercharged Warrior flag at each members' trailer easily identifies them. "We give the track owners and fans what they want, an action packed show with no hassles. We pride ourselves in being on time every time with a full field of awesome cars!" said marketing director Mickey Hale.

How it Works

After 2 rounds of eliminations, the two fastest winning cars will run off for the Chicago-style final. This is when the fans see some amazing side-by-side racing! The ET's are in the 7's at nearly 200 mph.

What to Expect

The Warriors love to perform for the crowds, and really cater to the kids by tossing Footballs, Frisbees, Flags and other promotional items. All of the drivers love to sign autograph cards and posters, answer questions from enthusiastic fans and show off their cars to any admirers. The members are a close-knit bunch who can often be found working on each others' cars. Each and every member works hard to insure a successful show each time out.

A fan favorite is the Mickey Thompson Tires Burnout Challenge, in which the fans judge the best burnout with their cheers and the driver is awarded a smokin' $100 from Mickey Thompson Tires.

The Enderle Reaction Time Award is a great program that the Warrior drivers really like. You will see a big smile from the winner of this award! The driver with the best reaction time receives $200 from Enderle Fuel Injection.

The Low ET Award is also presented to the Supercharged Warrior team that runs the quickest ET during eliminations. The team earning the "Top" spot will be awarded $100 from (available).
